Tiffany Evelyn Tarrant, M.D. wants her patients to know that she is passionate about women’s health advocacy and has dedicated her medical career to improving the lives of women holistically — physically, emotionally, psychologically, socially. Too often women’s health concerns are dismissed or not given the appropriate attention.  Opportunities are missed in busy clinics for counseling on lifestyle modifications that could augment pharmacologic treatment and improve overall wellness.  Many gynecological issues are complex and multifactorial and require a multifaceted approach to treatment.  Each patient is unique with their own clinical concerns, priorities, and values.  Dr. Tarrant’s goal is to educate patients to allow them to be their own best healthcare advocates — to provide them with the information and encouragement to move forward with their optimal individualized treatment plan to achieve their health and wellness goals.

Dr. Tarrant cares for adult women in Houston Texas and is an advocate for patients, healthcare providers, and all entities that support these individuals.  With over 20 years of clinical practice, Dr. Tarrant is a board certified OB-GYN who is now limiting her practice to clinic based gynecology only.  Dr. Tarrant provides comprehensive care of women from menarche to menopause and beyond.  In addition to routine preventive care, she specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of women’s health care issues including contraception and hormone replacement therapy and alternatives to hormone therapy.

Dr. Tarrant received her Bachelor of Engineering degree, graduating magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University and her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine.  She completed her residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center receiving the Excellence award for resident collaboration with Nurse-Midwifery Faculty Practice before beginning practice at the Woman’s Hospital of Texas. She is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  She is a member of the North American Menopause Society, as well as other medical societies. Dr. Tarrant has been recognized with various websites’ awards including Healthgrades and Vitals.

Tiffany Tarrant, M.D. joined MCH February 2025. She is a native Houstonian and has working knowledge of Spanish. Dr. Tarrant is always looking for ways to stay active and outside in nature.  She loves to play sports and watch sports.  She cannot spend enough time hiking and visiting national parks and loves spending time with her family, including their dogs.  They can often be found at baseball tournaments, soccer games, track practices, and jiu jitsu.  Mostly, she truly loves caring for people — for her family and her patients, and is so grateful for the opportunity to do so.
