At Medical Clinic of Houston, L.L.P. we are committed to providing high quality health care and services to our patients in compliance with all applicable laws, government regulations, third-party payor requirements, and our own policies and procedures. We also want to follow our mission, guiding principles, and workplace principles. In furtherance of this, while operating in a complex and highly regulated environment, we have implemented a compliance program. This program emphasizes our belief that compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies is a critical aspect of quality health care and services.
A key element of the MCH Compliance Program is the Code of Conduct which affirms the values of MCH:
The Code affirms the values and professional standards that already exist with everyone associated with MCH. Our success requires the active participation of every individual associated with our practice.
In order to provide superior patient care, three concepts must be at work. The first is teamwork. Not only do the doctors work in “cooperative association” to serve the patient, but the entire Clinic works as a team toward the same goal. High quality patient care is not possible without a combination of personnel working together.
The second concept is the Clinic’s commitment to treat the “whole patient.” We not only provide primary care, sub-specialty care, and extensive testing facilities, but we also try to see the patient as a special and unique human being. We aim to provide superior service in an atmosphere of complete confidentiality.
The third concept is the quality of care provided by the Clinic. When each individual is concerned with doing the best possible job, we make the difference between merely “treating” patients and maintaining our reputation as an outstanding medical facility. With this goal in mind, mediocrity, and indifference cannot be tolerated. The patient deserves our best.
The Clinic offers many benefits to its employees. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours a week are, generally, not eligible for benefits.
