Adriana Gonzalez, MD is an experienced physician specializing in Endocrine, Diabetes and Metabolism. She has been practicing medicine for several years and has a strong commitment to evidence-based practices and patient-centered care, ensuring her treatment recommendations are grounded in the latest research and clinical guidelines.  She believes in a team approach to medical care, emphasizing collaboration among healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and effective treatment for patients.

A native Texan, Dr. Gonzalez received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston. Her endocrine fellowship training included one year at the University of Texas Southwestern Dallas and a second year at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

After completing her fellowship in 2018, Dr. Gonzalez worked as a Clinical Endocrinologist for the Emory Healthcare system. She later served as the Wellness Director and an instructor of medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Gonzalez is an active member of the Endocrine Society and a member of the Texas Medical Association. She has received many honors and prizes to include Outstanding Achievement in Patient Care from the University of Texas Southwestern in 2017.

In August 2023, Adriana Gonzalez, M.D. began seeing patients at the Medical Clinic of Houston.
