Patient Registration
Duties include updating established patients’ accounts by verifying the patients’ demographic information, scanning the insurance cards, verifying insurance by obtaining current plan benefits, registering new patients over the telephone, procedure precertification, calculating out of pocket expenses and creating charts for new patients to the Clinic. Must type a minimum of 45 wpm and have a working knowledge of Medicare and Managed Care. Minimum 2 years work experience performing these duties. Must also be organized and a team player.
